WI Campus Tour and Planned Parenthood
This week the school of evangelism went on the WI Campus tour with MTP.
Missionariestothepreborn.com
We went to UW Oshkosh, Parkside, LaCrosse and Steven’s Point.
Tuesday was a lot better… We got to UW Parkside right before the first class break and split up in teams of two and spread out over campus with the Planned Parenthood literature. After that we set up in an area with a lot of foot traffic with signs and preaching. Soon we had a crowd of students asking questions and dialouging with people from our group. A lot of people heard the truth that day and many seeds were planted.
LaCrosse was really good too… Every day this week seemed to get better. By the end of the day we had a group of about 10 students standing in a semi circle around Jason asking sincere questions, and then pausing to think about his answer before asking the next question. A lot of people came up and shook our hands and thanked us for having a rational discussion, and for just talking and answering questions…
Yesterday we were at UW Steven’s Point. They were expecting us, so they wrote things like “UWSP doesn’t discriminate” in chalk on the sidewalk. We went out with lit during the first 2 class breaks and the student body senator came out and told us that we could not be there, we had to be on the sidewalk by the road and that we had to leave or else they would escort us off the campus or arrest us. We informed her that we did have the constitutional right to be there, but that we would talk to the cops when they got there. She told us very rudely that there would be no discussion and that we would be arrested. The police came, and told her that we had the right to be there afterall. So they didn’t bother us. But we had a very busy day, talking to many students about many topics, from abortion, to evolution, a moral standard, homosexuality, abstinence, death penalty, etc… Just about everything. It was a great day and as we spoke with people we could just see them understanding what we were explaining to them. Teeny got to pray with a student
Praise God!! Many seeds were planted and we definitely caused a stir on that campus today.

Preacher arrested at Liberty Bell
On October 6, 2007, Michael Marcavage, director of Repent America (RA), was arrested for street preaching on a public sidewalk near the entrance of the Liberty Bell Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania — the birthplace of American freedom — by National Park Service Rangers. As Michael preached to those waiting in line to see the Liberty Bell, Ranger Alan Saperstein, on a number of occassions interrupted the preaching and ordered him and the other members of the ministry team to relocate to a “free speech zone” nowhere near the area.

Aids Ride 2006 Letter to the Editor
Dear Editor,
As one of the “protesters” (as your paper called us) that showed up at Chandler Park last Friday, I wanted to clarify some things mentioned in the article that appeared in your newspaper on Saturday August 5, 2006 entitled AIDS bicycle fund-raiser winds through area. The article quoted a self-declared Christian who referred to us as “…taking the message of Jesus and twisting it to use it for their own political gain.” I assume that this person was referring to our opposition, not only to homosexuality in general, but also to the political agenda of many homosexuals. Please understand that our opposition, and the opposition of any true Christian, is based on God’s Word, the Bible, and not on our own opinions. Speaking of some of the difficult writings of the Apostle Paul, 2nd Pet 3:16 states “As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest [Greek: twist or torture], as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.” The question is: who is it that is twisting God’s Word? Is it us, or is it the homosexuals and their sympathizers? Our message to the riders in the AIDS ride was that homosexuality is a sin. Period… just as thievery, fornication and drunkeness are sins. We want to see cures for AIDS and many other diseases as much as anyone else does, but we also understand that, although not exclusively a homosexual disease, AIDS was originally mostly spread through homosexual acts. Though it is true that Jesus never addressed the sin of homosexuality directly, he did imply clearly in Mark 10:6-8 that marriage is only between a man and a woman. And in other passages, the Bible is very clear on this issue: Sodom was destroyed because of this sin (Genesis 18:20 – 19:28); Leviticus 18:22 says: “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination”; the first chapter of Romans states that this sin is vile, unseemly, and against nature; and 1st Corinthians 6:9 & 10 states that it is a sin. It is one thing for a person to say that they don’t believe the Bible, but it’s another thing for a person to try to change what the Bible plainly states. The Bible says that “unlearned and unstable” people twist these scriptures, and not for gain, but to their own destruction. As 2nd Corinthians 4:2 states, we “…have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully…” Our agenda is not political, but our goal is to uncompromisingly glorify the one holy and righteous God, and His only Son Jesus Christ.
