Salem Police Unlawfully Arrest Preacher
Salem police assault and unlawfully arrest Repent America (RA) director Michael Marcavage on Halloween night (10-31-07) as he was engaged in public street preaching.
Don’t let this egregious behavior by police go uncontested! You could be next! Please contact the City of Salem’s Mayor, Kimberley Driscoll, and the members of City Council, through http://www.salem.com, and demand that Lt. Paul Lemelin be terminated for his unlawful actions on 10-31-07 as shown in this video. Also, request that Patrolmen Brian Butler and Ryan Davis be properly disciplined.

Preacher arrested at Liberty Bell
On October 6, 2007, Michael Marcavage, director of Repent America (RA), was arrested for street preaching on a public sidewalk near the entrance of the Liberty Bell Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania — the birthplace of American freedom — by National Park Service Rangers. As Michael preached to those waiting in line to see the Liberty Bell, Ranger Alan Saperstein, on a number of occassions interrupted the preaching and ordered him and the other members of the ministry team to relocate to a “free speech zone” nowhere near the area.
